Chapter One
In the Beginning, There Was a Blackout
The power went out on an entirely ordinary evening, and one guy was left alone with the only tool that still worked: a flashlight. He made a shadow puppet. Then the shadow puppet needed a backstory. Then the backstory needed a world, the world needed rules, and the rules needed a respawn system.
The lights eventually came back on. He has, so far, declined to notice.
Invented Realms is what happens when that evening never really ends: an independent studio of exactly one person, building small strange worlds you can walk into from any browser — no downloads, no installs, no fifty-gigabyte patch. Point the light at a door and it opens.

- Has never once said "let's circle back." There is no one to circle back with.
- Salary paid entirely in the satisfaction of a realm well invented.

Official History
The Saga So Far
Year 0
The Blackout
Power dies. Flashlight clicks on. A shadow puppet acquires, against all industry standards, a full narrative arc.
Year 1
The Incorporation
Invented Realms is founded in the traditional way: by saying "I'm a studio now" out loud to an empty room. The room does not object. Legally binding.
Year 2
The Battery Incident
The flashlight's batteries are removed to power a television remote. The flashlight keeps working. Nobody talks about this.
Year 3
The Goose
A goose is observed, then pursued. The pursuit is ongoing. A game is being forged about it, mostly as evidence.
Now
The Forge Burns On
Realms under construction: a freefall archery range, an axolotl of considerable authority, a banana with a grievance. The portals open here, in your browser, as each one is finished.
Small games. Big worlds. Made by hand, played in a browser, free to wander.
